This machine cancel was in use from 10.07.1974 until 01.04.1977. Cover addressed to Vágur, with 1975 'Barnahjalpar grunnurin' tied seal. |

This machine cancel was in use from 05.11.1979 until 11.07.1984. |

This machine cancel was in use from 12.07.1984 until 29.02.1992 Colour PPC with three pictures of sheep. |

Datestamp No. 01.Ems.11 Type Ems 370 oyru was the (20g) Inland and Scandanavian 'A' Letter rate applicable from 01.01.1991 until 31.12.1992 so the letter has been overfranked by 10 oyru. This machine cancel was in use from 12.07.1984 until 29.02.1992 This Føroya Bjór business window envelope has a 'Ikki heintað i tið' cachet (Not collected in time?) on the reverse together with a Tórshavn Bro IIIg Circle cancel (01.25) dated 27.6.1991. On front of cover there are 'RETOUR' (27mm type) and '100 TÓRSHAVN' cachets also a further Tórshavn machine cancel (Type 01.Ems.11) dated 24.07.1991. |

Datestamp 01.Rul.03 Type Rul This Newspaper Wrapper sent from Tórshavn to Copenhagen. The wrapper was used to send a copy of ARBEÐIÐ - a 'Socialist Worker' type newspaper - at the reduced rate for Printed Matter. There is a 'Unknown at this address' cachet on the reverse. |
