Additionally the cover has two Barnahjalpin charity seals, a 1952 multi-coloured and a 1953 red bordered, blue background seal designed by Poul Arne Poulson. There is also a pair of different se-tenant  Danish 1953 Christmas seals.

In 1957 the Danish post office changed the danish spelling of the names in all Faroe cancellers for those towns with a double “ aa ” in their name. The double “ aa ”was changed to a circled “ å ”. This affected the following offices:

Sub offices: Trangisvaag, Vaag;
Receiving Houses : Midvaag, Saltangeraa, Sandevaag, Skaalevig, Skaale and Sorvaag.

The following two covers show an example of these changes.
